a) 360 Virtual Tour – an interactive digital tour of our buildings; you’ll find these across our website
b) Remote Viewing – a hosted viewing on a platform like WhatsApp, Skype or FaceTime, where you’ll be shown around one of our deep cleaned show-studios (by appointment only, 9.30am – 6:30pm on Mondays to Fridays and between 9.30am – 5:30pm on Saturdays)
c) In-person Viewing – a socially distanced in-person tour around one of our deep cleaned show-studios (by appointment only, 9.30am – 6:30pm on Mondays to Fridays and between 9.30am – 5:30pm on Saturdays)

It’s simple – just contact the accommodation team at Ravenscourt House to obtain the booking form which will need to be filled in with all relevant details. Alternatively just log on our website and complete the booking journey. To secure and confirm the booking you will need to pay the £250 security deposit. The payment can be arranged by credit card over the phone or by bank transfer.

We will certainly try to accommodate putting you in a room near your friend. The sooner you book, the better the chance of us having neighbouring rooms available. We need to know your friend’s name and need written confirmation from them that they want to be close to you!
We require a security deposit of £250, which is registered by us with DPS (Deposit Protection Service). It covers any potential damages, cleaning costs that might occur.
We will return the deposit within 30 days of your move out date, provided there are no damages, or outstanding rental fees due.
Students are exempt from council tax, so no, you do not have to pay it. Please provide the onsite team with your Council Tax exemption document, which is provided by your university or college.
We accept rent payment only by UK debit cards or bank transfers.
Security deposit payments can be still made by credit cards.

Your move in date will be anytime after 2pm on the tenancy start date until the office is closed. The office opening hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 7pm, Saturday – 9am – 6pm and Sunday – Closed.

The rent covers your room, all utility bills such as electricity, hot water and heating, basic contents insurance cover and use of the communal facilities. It also includes 200Mbps wired connection, with WiFi throughout the building and the right to connect up to 3 devices for free.
We have an agreement with Endsleigh, the No.1 student insurance provider. This cover does not protect laptops and phones or other items when you are outside your room, or all risks inside your room.
It is important for you to check this cover, so please follow the steps below to ensure you fully understand the protection provided.

Yes, every household or apartment in the UK must have TV license if they intend to watch live TV. Please refer to the TV license link http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/students
Included in your rent is a 200Mbps wired connection, with WiFi throughout the building and the right to connect up to 3 devices for free.
Upgrades are available for additional costs, as per the below:
Option 1: Upgrade to Ultimate – up to 100 Mbps wired connection with up to 30 Mbps WiFi.
£10 for 1 week; £25 for 4 weeks or £55 for 3 months; £95 for 6 months or £150 for 12 months.
The guarantor needs to be someone in full-time employment, either based in the UK or based in the student’s home country. The guarantor could be the student’s parent or guardian for instance. We would need to obtain the following documents from the guarantor:
- Copy of passport or ID
- Proof of address (copy of recent utility bill or bank statement)
- Proof of full time employment (only international guarantors. Self employment is not acceptable.)
You can still pay your rent by bank transfer. Please note that international transactions in general could take up to 7 – 10 working days for us to receive. Once you have arrived in the UK, with a proof of address letter given by us you will be able to open a UK debit account.
The first instalment must be paid 10 days before the tenancy begins.

Unfortunately, we do not.
We don’t take anyone below the age of 18, but on a case by case basis we may use our discretion to accept someone who is 17 provided that they turn 18 in the first 3 months of the term.
Yes, we only accept applications from full time students who are associated with further or higher education at a recognised institution in the London area.
No, you will not be able to get a discount on your rent if you pay in full.
We would recommend a cleaning company should you wish to clean your room/flat, please enquire once you have moved in.
Yes, so long as they are guests and do not live permanently on the premises. This is because we need to know how many people are living in the building should anything happen.
Kindly ensure that each time your guest enters or exits the building, they sign in/out of our visitor book.
For guests staying longer than one night, we will require a copy of their ID and an email from you with the details of their stay.
Remember you are liable for your guest and you must look after them.
Yes, we have common rooms at Ravenscourt House where we hold regular events. You are allowed to socialise in your room too, but other residents must be respected and therefore noise levels will be controlled. Please be considerate of others.
If you are unhappy with your room we will try to accommodate you. This is subject to availability and price.

We are only able to accept students in full time education.
No, we do not have car park.
Yes. You are able to store your bicycle in the bicycles storage designated area.
No. Our property is a non-smoking building. If you are caught smoking or tampering with smoke/fire detectors, further action will be taken as it is against the law.
All our rooms are fully furnished but you will need to bring your personal belongings including bedding, towels, crockery and cutlery and cooking utensils.
Each studio has its own unique set of keys so that your belongings are safe.
You will need to contact the on-site accommodation team or our out of hours team on the office number +44 (0) 20 3929 1959 or the emergency services, depending on the problem.
The washing machine costs £4.00 and the dryer is £2.30 – starting from September 1st 2023. These prices are subject to change as the machines are operated by a third-party contractor, but we always advise the students at the beginning of the year of any changes in these fees.

The tenancy agreement is a legally binding document between the landlord (owner) and the tenant (you). It sets out clearly defined rules of the building and the obligations of the Landlord and Tenant.
Tenancy agreement at Ravenscourt House is 51 weeks.

No, as the tenancies are for 51 weeks.
Once you have signed the tenancy agreement, you cannot shorten the tenancy period.
No, the tenancy you have signed prevents you from subletting your room. If you are considering leaving your room early, please notify the accommodation team in the first instance.
